This was my first liveaboard and was simply fantastic. I was really excited when I called blue o two to book the holiday. The staff are friendly and extremely knowledgable.
This particular trip was a reef clean up, meaning that blue o two were selling the trips for zero profit, in return for the divers collecting rubbish on various reef dives. Do not think for one minute that this is a boring / dirty task. It provides a great feeling to give something back to the environment that provides us with such an abundant play ground!
On the downside, I lost both sets of integrated weights on a night dive which caused a few complications. My Buddy Commando jacket is being ferried back to AP Valves to be fixed and given new weight pockets. I asked how much it would cost and the helpful guy (Nick) informed me that there would be no charge...now that's customer service!
All of the following pictures were taken on a Sealife DC600. Whilst away, I had the opportunity to try various other setups - my favourite being a Canon 850. On my return, I bought a Canon IXUS 980 and Canon WP-DC27 housing. The 14.7MP images are out of this world compared to the DC600!
